An Aggie raised in College Station, TX turned Longhorn, I recently graduated with a Plan II Honors degree from The University of Texas at Austin. I am also still pursuing a business management degree at UT. Because of my academic background, I have a deep love and appreciation for writing across numerous genres. I have experience writing fictional short stories, literary analyses, memorandums, cover letters, resumes, and more, all encompassing the skill of using written English language in concise, clear, and creative ways. I keep my own experiences and cherished lessons in mind as a tutor, engaging students by showing examples of writing principals from the most basic up to more complex applications then guiding students as they demonstrate examples that illustrate their own understanding of those core concepts. Exiting the climax of my own academic career, I have had the privilege of tutoring students in English and essay writing, and nothing is more rewarding than helping someone understand a previously challenging concept. I deeply look forward to helping students grow confident with their writing abilities and begin unlocking the power and enchanting capabilities of written words.

Although I indulge in many interests, dance reigns as my greatest passion. I grew up training in genres ranging from ballet to tap and hip hop, competing with teams of increasing caliber throughout my K-12 years. I then had the privilege of representing The University of Texas at Austin and Texas Athletics as a leading member of The Texas Pom Squad during my four years of university. Today, I continue my dance career at the professional level, performing as a member of The Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue. When I am not dancing, I enjoy reading; I am currently reading Christopher Paolini's Eragon, although Jack London is my favorite author. I also challenge my physical fitness through weight lifting and, more recently, running. I hope to run a half marathon in just a few months! I look forward to getting to know my students better to create a safe and exciting educational environment.
