Since graduating, I have mainly worked with children in various capacities including mental health facilities, schools, and summer camps. I have a passion for helping others, especially our youth. I believe children really are the future and should be protected, encouraged, and poured into. My teaching philosophy is, patience is key! We don't always understand certain concepts right away and that's okay! I'm naturally patient, kind, and understanding. This is also how I would describe my tutoring style. My favorite subject to tutor is math because it's also my favorite subject! (Fun fact: I was a Mathlete all 4 years of high school!) Math reminds me of puzzles. I thoroughly enjoy working a math problem out, the same way I would with a puzzle! Outside of working on puzzles, I also enjoy listening to music and podcasts, writing for my blog, going to concerts, and doing anything that promotes and includes laughter! I look forward to working with you and helping you improve your grades!
