About Me

I have my Masters in Education/Advanced Classroom Instruction through Capella University. I have taught for 15 years in general and special education ranging in grades Pre-K - 2nd grade. My teaching license is for K-5 and then Special Education K-12. Learning is suppose to be fun and exciting not just for the learner but also for the teacher. I truly enjoy teaching younger children and finding different ways to watch them learn without them even realizing they are doing school work. Bringing realalistic situations to the learning experience helps the learner understand why we are learning things and sees that things will be used throughout their lives.
