As a graduate student, I designed and taught English classes for two years, and I have experience with teaching both in the classroom and in one-on-one settings. I enjoy teaching a wide variety of subjects, but especially literature, history, and math. As a teacher, I always focus on meeting students where they're at and providing them with what the tools they, personally, need to succeed. When it comes to test preparation specifically, I like to cut to the chase very quickly to determine what students most need help with, be it subject knowledge, time management, or an ability to recognize patterns in the 'tricks' that test writers use to mislead students. My hope is that this approach allows me to help you in a way that is immediately useful while also imparting knowledge that might aid you in the long term.
