I am a veteran teacher of 23 years with a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a reading endorsement, and Orton-Gillingham training. I have taught all grades from 1-8 and have a strong passion for teaching reading using the Science of Reading knowledge to guide my teaching. I believe all children can learn with explicit and systematic instruction and I can bring your child up to the reading level they should be at with some extra guidance and support.

My hobbies include reading, hiking, and watching our hometown sports' teams.
