My 30 years of experience spans roles as a CAD Manager and Design Technician, alongside 13 years as a respected freelance technical writer and an Adjunct Instructor of Design and Drafting Technology. This diverse background has equipped me with a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities, making me well-prepared to contribute effectively to your team. At CapStone Technologies, I became proficient in a wide array of advanced technologies, including 2D/3D CAD, Building Information Modeling (BIM), 3D printing, 3D scanning, and cutting-edge Augmented and Virtual Reality applications. In my role as Manager of CAD Services, I consistently fostered high-performing teams, streamlined workflows, and significantly improved project efficiency. My freelance work highlights my strong communication skills, with publications featured in industry-leading platforms such as EngineersRule.com, TenLinks, CADdigest, ENGtechnica, and engineering.com. I also leveraged my expertise as an AutoCAD Subject Matter Expert (SME), creating technical content for educational institutions like Penn Foster and NCCER. My academic foundation includes a BAS in Industrial Technology with a concentration in Computer Aided Drafting from Wayne State College. Complementing this, I currently share my knowledge as an Adjunct Instructor in Design and Drafting Technology at Southeast Community College.
