About Me

I love engaging with students to connect each person's natural curiosity and interest with an understanding of new subjects (my expertise is finance). I taught a college level seminar for several semesters focused on teaching finance to students in the Arts & Entertainment world. I have an MBA with a concentration in finance (I received the Outstanding Graduate in Finance Award) and earned the CFA charter. I love teaching finance. My approach to teaching is to make subjects that are often abstract, seemingly complicated, and difficult, accessible and engaging through connections each student has with the material and to real world applications. I have over 20 years of experience in Finance and Investing and have countless real-world applications and real experiences of financial tools being used correctly and incorrectly that deepen understanding and relevance of the subject for students.
