As a dedicated educator and passionate advocate for academic growth, I find immense fulfillment in guiding students toward their goals and helping them unlock their full potential. Throughout my academic journey and diverse experiences, I have honed the skills and qualities necessary to be an effective tutor. My journey as a Master of Chemistry student at New Mexico State University has not only equipped me with a strong foundation in my field but has also instilled in me the importance of clear, concise, and engaging teaching methods. As evidenced by my role as a Chemistry Basics Teaching Assistant and an Analytical/Organic Chemistry Lab Facilitator, I have successfully translated complex concepts into understandable and relatable content, fostering a supportive learning environment. Beyond the classroom, my involvement in leadership roles within the NMSU Triathlon Club and church ministry has developed my interpersonal and communication skills. These experiences have enabled me to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and effectively convey ideas, values, and knowledge. My work as a Computational Chemist Research Assistant further underscores my adaptability and problem-solving capabilities. I've innovatively approached challenges, such as modeling membrane dynamics, and have consistently sought new perspectives to drive scientific discovery. My wide-ranging interests, including running, podcasts, literature, and teaching, reflect a well-rounded individual who can relate to students' multifaceted lives and interests.
