About Me

I am a passionate teacher currently taking a break from full time teaching due to big personal changes recently. I studied biology and chemistry at Oregon State University to get my Bachelors degree then went on to get a Masters of Art in Teaching from Pacific University. I then worked for two years at a local high school teaching biology, chemistry, physics, and physical science. I taught all high school ages from grade 9 through grade 12. I love working with students to understand science topics, in the specific ways they learn. I have taught both online and in-person during my carreer and am adept at using technology to help students learn. I am excited to help your student learn science and achieve their science goals.
