I am a retired Mechanical Engineer looking to help students of all ages in mathematics, physical sciences, and engineering subjects (STEM). My education includes a BSME from the University of Delaware & MSME from Purdue University. I am also the father of two children who have recently graduated college and now how successful profession careers, which I like to claim was a result of some help from my tutoring. Many students are often put off or become overwhelmed by this material because it is not taught with; i) enough enthusiasm, ii) positive reinforcement, iii) practice by the learner, iv) involvement of the learner, and v) examples of how the subject matter can be put to practical use. My tutoring methods try to include all five. I am most passionate about mathematics (algebra, GED math, college math, and calculus). I also enjoy prepping students for Standardize Math Tests.
