About Me

As a passionate educator with a Master's in Education & Interdisciplinary Studies from Western Illinois University, I have over 25 years of experience teaching a diverse range of subjects, including ACCUPLACER ESL, Psychology, and History. My teaching philosophy centers on fostering meaningful connections with students to create a supportive learning environment where they feel empowered to succeed. I believe that education is a lifelong journey, and I strive to instill this passion in my students through engaging and relevant lessons. Outside the classroom, I enjoy practicing yoga and exploring different cultures, which enriches my approach to teaching and helps me connect with learners from various backgrounds.
