I then continued my Food Science studies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, graduating with my Master's degree in 2023. I researched in a food chemistry lab specializing in food chemistry, with my own work focusing on organic chemical synthesis. During this time, I also worked extensively with biopolymer creation and characterization, polymer characterization, and microbiological analysis. Both prior and during my college education, I have been a student tutor in all math and science fields that I have been educated in (introductory through calculus math; introductory, organic, polymer, and analysis chemistry as well as biochemistry). I have also been a Teacher's Aide during my high school, undergraduate, and graduate career for various math and science courses. Currently I am an adjunct instructor at Roane State Community College. I have loved the time I spent on my own educational journey and am very excited for the opportunity to assist others in theirs.

Outside of teaching, I love spending time kayaking, hiking, and playing video games with friends.
