My passion for helping students stems from a deep belief in the transformative power of education. This journey began during my tenure as a tutor, where I had the privilege of guiding students across various K-12 subjects. The opportunity to work in diverse educational environments, both online and in-person, has allowed me to develop a nuanced understanding of student needs and the strategies that best support their learning. My educational background was forged at the University of South Carolina, where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. This foundation in psychology has been invaluable in understanding student behavior and learning processes, enabling me to tailor my approach to fit individual needs effectively. I tutor in a wide range of subjects, including math, sociology, psychology, philosophy, English, and history. My favorite subjects to tutor are math and psychology. Math, because of the satisfaction that comes from helping students overcome their fears and challenges associated with the subject, leading to moments of genuine understanding and confidence. Psychology fascinates me due to its relevance in everyday life and its ability to help students understand themselves and others better, fostering a deeper engagement with the material. My teaching philosophy is centered on empathy, patience, and adaptability.
