About Me

My foremost area of proficiency is in the field of Software Application Development. During my time in this field, I have developed automated scripts using Core Java, and the fundamentals of the Javascript language. I have developed Web Applications (J2EE) using advanced Java technology. While developing these software projects, I have leveraged concepts relevant to REST & SOAP Web Services and have leveraged technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, CSS, Java Persistence Api, and Android. All of my software projects have been published in a publicly available repository. Above mentioned knowledge was reinforced upon completion of the Full Stack Java Developer Certificate course with live instructor led training. Other important software courses that I've completed include completion of a 'Fundamentals of Android' course, completion of a 'Core Java' programming course (at Boston University), completion of 'Java Web Services; Rest Api; Spring Boot' course. My software professional experience includes working with Javascript, Java api development, analysis of prebuilt Java applications from a software security standpoint, and I have spent time on software quality assurance related work in a professional setting. As a student, I've also served as a Teaching Assistant in the Life Science Labs and Biology labs. I believe students should get the opportunity to freely ask questions and provide their input throughout the learning session. I do believe that the subject instructor is responsible for breaking down complex information for a simplified presentation to the students. I also believe that instructors are responsible for providing close guidance while the student is performing hands-on activities.
