About Me

As a highly skilled registered nurses, I started my career ten years ago as an CNA to an LPN and now BSN, RN. I have worked in multiple departments including ER, Family/Sports medicine, Operating Room, High School/Elementary nurse, Clinical Instructor, NCLEX tutor, and more. I'm also a community educator for the Alzheimer's and Dementia Association. I'm currently a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Medical Surgical and Tele unit. During my time here I educate, teach, plan, schedule, organize and prepare material for current and new staff. In addition to my responsibility I've assessed, planned, implemented, evaluated all care and documentation related to nursing care of patients in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards and policies and procedures. My teaching philosophy includes the following providing new perspectives to each individual in their own way. Proving a safe and fun environment to engage in learning through feedback, demonstration and creative storytelling. Creating the foundations of knowledge and understanding. I want my students to not only be a great student but a great individual. Establish trust within themselves and present it to others.
