About Me

I grew up in a school that didn't believe in adjusting to student learning styles. I always felt like I was stupid because I struggled every year, while my classmates seemed to understand everything I couldn't! Turns out, I had undiagnosed ADHD! Now, diagnosed in my 30s, and with 3 children of my own, I work hard to advocate for creativity and student empowerment in classrooms. Learning doesn't HAVE to be a struggle! Learning SHOULD be fun! I know first hand how hard it is to try and force your brain to absorb information in ways it simply isn't designed to. So, my goal is to break that cycle, to inject positivity, hope, creativity, and passion into learning. Every student deserve the chance to learn and grow in the way that makes sense to THEM! So let's figure that out together!
