About Me

Hello! My name is Christin Hong and I am delighted to be your potential tutor. A few details about me: I am in my last year of medical school at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson (M.D.) and graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Biochemistry. I just finished the interview process for residency and have interviewed with prestigious institutions including Harvard, University of Pennsylvania, Stanford, and the likes. I have a passion for tutoring and have been tutoring ever since high school (SAT, chemistry, math). In college, I was selected to be a Biochemistry Teaching Assistant and also helped students prepare for medical school with counseling and MCAT planning. In medical school, I've served as class representative for Renal/Nephrology courses and was selected to be a USMLE counselor for medical students in my school. As the first person to go to medical school from my family, I know how challenging the journey may be and how important the USMLE exams are.
