I was a member of the honors program and completed my thesis on the resistance of the gut microbiota of honey bees to environmental antibiotics. I recently completed my Master's degree in Occupational Therapy at the same institution. I am passionate about the use of nature for rehabilitation for people of all ages and volunteer at nursing homes and developmental centers for children. I enjoy doing anything outside especially gardening, hiking, kayaking, biking, and camping!
