Education has always been my passion, and I firmly believe that every student has the potential to succeed when given the right support and guidance. As a Teach for America corps member in 2018, I had the privilege of teaching 1st grade in a dual-language setting, fostering a love for learning in young scholars. My journey in education continued as I took on leadership roles, serving as an assistant principal and a principal in residence, where I worked to create meaningful learning environments that empower both students and educators. My favorite subjects to tutor are reading and writing because strong literacy skills lay the foundation for academic success across all disciplines. I approach tutoring with patience, encouragement, and a student-centered mindset, adapting my methods to each learner's unique needs. Whether building confidence in a struggling reader or refining a student's writing skills, my goal is to create an engaging and supportive learning experience that fosters long-term growth. Beyond education, I enjoy exploring new cultures, reading thought-provoking books, and finding ways to make learning an enjoyable experience for every student. Helping students discover their strengths and develop a love for learning is at the heart of what I do, and I look forward to making a positive impact on every learner I work with.
