During my time at Kenyon College, I worked as a teaching aide for high school creative writing students as well as a resume/cover letter editor, where I support students in one-on-one counseling sessions to develop written arguments and concise phrasing. I am a strong line editor and am eager to help students communicate their ideas. In my experience preparing for standardized testing, I have been able to best support students by encouraging their strategic thinking and creatively applying their strengths to the challenges they are struggling with. I am most familiar with the SAT reading/writing section and the AP Literature or Language test, but I am also able to support students in developing reading and writing skills to approach the ACT as well. Every student can find the words to communicate their ideas if given the right tools, and I love being a part of that process. I would love to work with you!

I love reading, writing, television, music, skiing, the outdoors, and yoga in my free time! I'm listening to lots of old Taylor Swift lately, which has been a huge mood booster.
