Hi everyone! My name is Koko. After graduate school, I stayed in the US and worked in public education before taking a break to raise my kids. I'd be a great tutor for students who just started learning Japanese, or those who've already learned vocab and grammar, but haven't had an opportunity to practice speaking. I can help you with sentence structure, pronunciation, and conversational skills. I can also teach casual, everyday Japanese that is often skipped in formal Japanese language curricula. If you have any textbooks or lesson plans that you want to go over together, I would be happy to help. My parents live in Japan, and I often visit them. I enjoy talking about Japanese culture, giving travel tips, and Japanese food. Can't wait to meet you in my class!

I enjoy meeting new people and learning new things! In my spare time, I love to camp and take long walks with my family. My kids love playing Pokemon Go, so we walk a lot! I also enjoy making jewelry with seed beads and reading books.
