About Me

I am a retired Army Veteran and a undergraduate from the University of Houston-Victoria with honors( cum laude). While serving in the Army I was an Instructor and I also studied to become a math teacher, but changed majors into Finance. Every since my military days I enjoy giving back to the community anyway that I can, so I figured why not teach subjects in Finance. My philosophy in teaching is to try to keep it as simple as I can by using analogies and references that is unique to each person and their way of absorbing information. The subjects I enjoy teaching within Finance are understanding Fundamental Analysis( financials such as 10Q and 10K), this goes with earning season or when companies report earning. Technical Analysis, which is understanding how to read a chart that includes candles, SMA, MACD, RSI and Divergence. I also teach economics and how economics is applied to the Stock market. Other subjects I may teach are undertanding Bonds, Credit Spreads, Economy Cycles, Simple and Compound Interest within Excel, ETFs, Options, Equities, mutual funds, and rules and regulations in the Finance industry.
