About Me

I have a Master of Business Administration from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the University of Alberta. I also have a TEFL certificate for teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) from Global TESOL. Since graduation, I have worked in the public and private sectors as a Business Consultant, including government, health care, and banking. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about ESL, Math, and Science. In my experience helping students, it is most rewarding when we go through challenging areas that the students are aware of and turn weaknesses into strengths. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading which enriches my life, cooking, hiking, and swimming.
