I graduated with an Honors B.S. in Psychology from Michigan State University and my M.A. in Experimental Psychology from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I've taught college courses---Research Methods & Statistics, Intro to Psychology, and Cognitive Psychology---for over 10 years at multiple universities (Wake Forest University, Elon University, and University of North Carolina at Greensboro). One major advantage to having a background in Cognitive Psychology is that it allows me to use research-proven strategies effectively to help students learn. Although I love working with students in any context, my favorite topics are statistics and psychology because I love instilling my passion for those subjects in students.
