About Me

In my 25+ years of teaching experience, I have been fortunate to work with K-12 students in various ways. My love for writing and literature and my desire to help others is why I continue to love teaching. In addition to being an English teacher, I have helped with all subjects, at all levels. Creating a caring and safe environment, while building positive relationships, is an integral step in working with students. I received my Bachelors in Ed degree from Central Michigan University; majoring in English and Special Education. I received my Masters of Educational Leadership: Principalship from Saginaw Valley State University.
