About Me

I have a Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration from Hunter College. I have been a healthcare executive for over 30 years and have directed several departments including IT, Accounting, Purchasing, Facilities, Planning and Contract Management. I was a Department Chair at Mandl College of Allied Health and developed various curricula including Computerized Medical Billing, Medical Coding, Medical Billing and Anatomy and Physiology. As a college professor for more than 15 years I have taught all medical coding for preparation for AAPC and AHIMA exams. I have even taught ICD-10-PCS coding. I have taught at Florida Career College, Fortis College, and Mandl College of Allied Health. I also advised students on career opportunities, resume' preparation and interviewing. I have also taught advanced anatomy and physiology and pathophysiology to nursing, medical assistant, radiology technicians and licensing and certification for all.
