I have always wanted to be a teacher and be a difference maker, and when I knew math was my strong suit, I really saw that I can show people how to appreciate math for the beauty that it is. Having a teacher like that changed my view of school. I want to be that teacher for my students. I want to be able to help them achieve, help them grow, and especially help them know that math is beautiful. I want my students to learn math skills, as well as problem solving, critical thinking, and perseverance. These traits will serve them well past the classroom.

Other than math, I am a volleyball coach. I played outside hitter through school. I have a baby girl and a puppy who is a Bernese mountain dog, poodle mix.
