About Me

I am a graduate of Bard College and I earned my Master of Fine Arts from Emerson College. My Bachelor of Arts is in Theater Studies, and my Master of Fine Arts is in Media Art & Filmmaking. I'm semi-fluent in Spanish, having studied throughout my academic career followed by a year living in Madrid. I have classroom experience with grades 6-8 as a Spanish teacher, and I teach Digital Cinema, Photography, and Screenwriting at the high school level. I love to learn about my student's favorite movies and compare notes! I'm at my best when I'm helping you figure out your approach to writing projects, no matter where you are in the process. I teach students best practices for writing research papers, screenplays, personal essays, and anything in between.
