About Me

I am a graduate of Washington State University and Bellevue College. At WSU I received my Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with a focus on Speech Communication and Fine Arts. At Bellevue College I received an associates degree in Web and Mobile development. I know what it is like to be totally new to the topic of coding as I worked as a video game 3D artist before getting into computer science. I have taught many years at the college level and even ran a coding school located in Bellevue Washington. It is a joy to teach students the fundamentals of coding and show them how truely fun and creative the topic can be. I believe in having fun while learning and establishing a strong foundation in the basics before moving on to more complicated topics. In my spare time I enjoy practicing guitar, playing backgammon and hiking.
