About Me

I first started tutoring on the side during college in the 1990s while completing my microbiology and chemistry degrees. I helped students with algebra and biology during that time. While in college I worked as a PC repair technician on campus and enjoyed building and troubleshooting computers. After college I worked in a genetic research laboratory and taught high school student how to work with DNA and transform bacteria with a mobile DNA laboratory. I left the laboratory for a position as a network administrator for a cell phone company and further developed my PC/networking skills and at the same time started teaching middle school science classes (biology, physical science) at a small private school. I have received three college degrees including Microbiology BS, Chemistry BA, and Network Operations and Security BS. My technical certifications: Cisco CCNA Amazon AWS Sysops LPI Linux Essential CIW Site Development Axelos ITIL Foundation CompTIA Security+ CompTIA Network+ CompTIA A+ CompTIA Project+ CompTIA Cloud Essentials I am currently studying for my Cisco CCNP Enterprise and the CCSP Certified Cloud Security Professional.
