About Me

I have been helping people buy and sell homes for 12 years. Prior to that, I was in sales and marketing for 22 years with a large international company. Additionally, I have been a Registered Nurse for 40 years. While I maintain my nursing license, my primary career is in Real Estate. I helped start up a real estate school, and I taught the material for the National Real Estate Exam and the Missouri Real Estate Exam there for 2 years. I love learning and considered a career in teaching. Tutoring provides me with the best of both worlds. I am passionate about helping those who want a career in real estate achieve that goal. My style is informal, interactive, and I use a lot of different resources to help my students understand the material, such as handouts, graphs, charts, diagrams, personal examples, etc. My goal is to have my students understand the concepts and laws of real estate, not just memorize the information in order to pass the test. The most successful Realtors are those who can adapt to each client's individual needs. You will need a well-rounded understanding of how the real estate market works because each client and every transaction is unique. The rest of my time is spent with my 5 adult children and 2 grandbabies.
