About Me

I have a Masters in Creative Writing from Cambridge University. I am a writer, and I love to teach writing as well which, I find, is often harder than it is assumed to be. Especially if the aim is to write with clarity and impact, there is much to be mindful of, even something as seemingly straightforward as the placement of commas. In fact there is no such thing as a piece of writing which cannot be improved, it's just that we have decide, in the interest of time and sanity, when it is good enough! I have also worked as an ESL instructor in a LINC program. Additionally, I am a teacher candidate in a BEd After-Degree program, and in that capacity I have taught multiple subjects to Elementary schoolchildren in a Canadian classroom, including Writing, Math and Science. In particular, I enjoy teaching Math to youngsters, because I can see the difference when they realize Math is not at all a fearsome beast, but rather something full of creativity and even joy. I believe strongly anyone can be great at Math. When I have the time I like to read, swim, practice my French, and play piano and squash.
