About Me

I am a Nurse Practitioner with a wealth of clinical and teaching experience. I have worked as a Nurse for over 17 years and as a Nurse Practitioner for the last 3 years. My work experiences include the Operating Room, Critical Care, Home Health, Clinical Education, Case Management, Leadership/Management and as a NCLEX and ESL tutor. I look forward to the opportunity of sharing this experience with undergraduates, graduates, and any student who requires help preparing for exams and working on coursework. I teach Nursing, Medical Terminology, Medicine, NCLEX, English, Adult ESL/ELL and Professional Certifications. The benefit of having a tutor is that lessons can be tailored to the specific needs of the student. My experience has given me the clinical, academic and pedagogical experience necessary for identifying the needs of my students. My teaching approach involves providing a conducive learning environment, identifying the needs of the student, their learning style, then creating a learning plan and goals tailored to their needs. I have great rapport with students, and I look forward to the opportunity of working with students to achieve their goals.
