- My passion for teaching children and for the Spanish language is a core part of who I am.
- I enjoy working with youth and learning their personalities, in addition to inspiring them and helping them to achieve their goals.
About Me
My teaching philosophy includes connecting with students on a personal level to establish a relationship of trust, and to provide students with an educative experience that inspires them to become lifelong learners. I have gained professional experience working with children of various grade levels to support their developmental growth in both the academic setting and non-academic setting. I have worked as an in-class Spanish tutor, Student Teacher at multiple schools, as well as a CIT and lead Camp Counselor at two summer camps. From my experience and the education I received from Temple University, I learned to be more organized, flexible, patient, compassionate, as well as a better listener and how to reflect that in my instruction. I would be honored to be of service to any student seeking to improve their Spanish skills!
Hobbies & Interests
A few hobbies I love are: training my dog and taking him for walks, cooking, dancing, doing art, practicing the guitar, gardening, and some sports (swimming and volleyball).
