I earned my bachelor's degree in K-12 special education and my master's degree in educational neuroscience, as well as a Certificate in E-Learning and Adult Learning. For over twenty years, I have served as a K-12 teacher and learning specialist. I'm currently a university instructor. Specialties: e-learning, ESL, ELL, K-12 education, learning and reading disabilities, writing, adult learning, conversational English, study skills, and executive functioning. I offer students of all ages learner-centered experiences with active participant involvement and the support to effectively make use of what is learned. I believe that each learner is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to learn. It is my desire as an instructor to help learners meet their fullest potential by creating an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.

I am a life-long learner who enjoys traveling, playing the piano, learning new languages, and watching movies with my family.
