About Me

I am a graduate of the awesome Texas State University (Southwest Texas State University). I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aquatic Biology with an emphasis and minor in Chemistry. While I was still in school, I was hired as an Aquatic Scientist and I have been a scientist for about 14 years now. I love to travel, I love to learn, I love sports, puzzles, hiking, music, and anything that seems challenging. In my free time I love to help people, which is why I became a tutor. I had been tutoring for years for my friend's children in church and youth programs, so I decided to join Varsity Tutors to have more of an impact. Education is key. I'm passionate about all things science, and love to make learning fun. I'm enthusiastic and energetic when teaching so be prepared to have fun and learn at the same time!
