About Me

Hello! My name is Wendy Derrick, and I am an experienced Information and Communication Technology (ICT) teacher with over seven years of experience teaching grades 68 in Orange County Public Schools. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and develop a love for learning. I tailor my instruction to meet each student's unique needs, breaking down concepts into clear, manageable steps. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing academically. I have completed a master's degree in Educational Leadership, which enhances my ability to support students beyond academics by building confidence, organization, and critical thinking skills. My goal as a tutor is to provide a positive, engaging learning experience that empowers students to reach their full potential.
