Teaching is a work of heart.

I am a lifelong learner of how to support others to learn. This means I study the best practices for all learner modalities. I am involved in education in all areas of my life. I love being outdoors in the woods and creeks. I have two pet pigs, one is red and weighs a bit over 700 lbs and the other is spotted and weighs 25 lbs. I live in the country where I raised my three children with my husband of 38 years. I am a retired teacher of 27 years and have started a nature center in our home town. I continue to work in the schools as a substitute teacher. I have completed several long term sub assignments as well as teaching student intervention groups. I continue to promote environmental education by being involved in the local Conservation District and the Urban Forestry Board. I also direct an Educational Nature Center in my local community.
