With over 20 years of teaching experience, including a decade as both a teacher and a reader for the AP Computer Science A Exam, I am deeply committed to helping students not only master the core concepts of programming but also develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for success both on the AP exam and in real-world coding projects.

I love fishing, though I don’t get to enjoy it as much as I’d like. With a busy household — my amazing wife and four kids, ranging from 8 to 21 years — they keep me on my toes. Even though time for fishing is limited, those moments on the water are a welcome escape. I love sharing the experience with my kids, whether it’s teaching them how to cast a line or simply enjoying the outdoors together. It's all about balancing family, fun, and making memories when I can.
