One lesson from early in my career sums up the approach I prefer to use. Good teaching means acting as a guide beside each student and it has worked well. With a BA in English from the University of Virginia and a Master's in Education from Shenandoah University that focused on teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, coaching championship debate teams and professional experience in politics , I am confident in tutoring English, ESL, Spanish, Government and History. In my travels I have communicated in Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian and I also enjoy fishing and baseball. May you enjoy success in your studies.
