About Me

Hello! My name is Emily, I received my PhD from UNC Chapel Hill in the pharmaceutical sciences division of pharmacoengineering. My undergraduate degree was in cell and molecular biology. My dissertation project was focused on biomaterials, bioinformatics, and molecular biology, so I have a passion for teaching biology in a way that makes it relevant for every day life. I'm currently an R&D scientist at a small company in the research triangle.
