- I graduated from Mississippi State University with a Ph.D. in Mechanical engineering and a concentration in materials engineering.
About Me
During graduate school, my advisor, Dr. Mark Horstemeyer, ensured that we mastered teaching as a prerequisite to graduation. In lieu of that, I have experience in teaching a range of classes from undergraduate to graduate and an array of subjects that include mathematics, physics, metallurgy, mechanics of materials. Furthermore, I have taught high school students science subjects (Physics, mathematics) from grade 6 onwards for more than a year. During my academic years, I have been fortunate to learn from a variety of teachers, where each one of them had a unique method of teaching. By studying these various techniques, I have distilled a method which is effective and focuses on teaching, learning, and clarification of concepts rather than dictation of facts without a care for understanding the material taught. Outside of academia, I am an avid nature lover, and am enthusiastic to explore the many wonders and gems this earth has to provide.
