About Me

Hi,My primary teaching experience is with preschool through 6th grade special education students. I have worked at public and private schools in general education as well as special education. I have tutored students primarily in reading. I am certified to teach in Ohio and Texas. I am able to renew my Indiana license if needed. Ohio- Intervention Specialist (SPED k-6)(recently expired, plan to renew)Indiana- El. Ed. and Special Ed.(renewable)Texas-El. Ed.(current)My preference is to tutor remedial reading to students in K- 3rd grade and older students who function at the Elementary School level. I tailor tutoring sessions to specific needs of students and incorporate their interests. Note: I am working as a remedial tutor on this platform, as opposed to a teacher. (I do spend time planning, and uploading materials before each session even though prep time is not compensated).
