I earned my Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in English from Indiana University and my Master of Arts in Nineteenth-Century German History with a minor focus in Antebellum America from Ball State University. I am currently ABD at Indiana State University, where my doctoral work focuses on Curriculum Design and Empathy. I expect to complete my dissertation within the next two years. In addition, I completed Butler University's Applied Educational Neuroscience certification program, which deepened my understanding of brain regulation, mirror neurons, empathy, cognitive development, and the impact of inflammation on learning. This training has strengthened my ability to connect with students and create engaging, brain-based learning environments tailored to individual needs.
