About Me

Hi, I'm Brittany I'm a state certified elementary (K-6) teacher in New Jersey with 10 years of experience tutoring English and Language Arts online. I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school students and hold both a Master's degree and a 120-hour TESOL certification. I specialize in tutoring ELA, including phonics and morphology, grammar, spelling, reading comprehension, writing skills, and general homework help. I also have experience preparing students for public speaking assignments and critical standardized tests. I have worked extensively with ESL/ELL learners, as well, so I'd love to work with students looking to improve their overall English fluency. In my sessions, I tailor each lesson to students' individual interests and learning styles. I also believe that building students' confidence is critical to academic success.
