I have an LLI reading certificate to teach students in reading. In addition to teaching reading I also teach my reading students in small reading groups. I teach my students phonemic awareness, reading comprehension skills, grammar and handwriting skills. I have obtained an Ohio Department of Education educational licensure and I am ESEA certified and qualified. In addition to these certificates, I am also a certified member of The National Tutoring Association. I have been at Columbus City schools for 14 years. I enjoy teaching my students how to read and how to be more confident and comfortable when they are reading. I believe in taking my time with each of my students to make sure they understand the material. I am very attentive, compassionate, and understanding.
