About Me

I love language and have a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing and in French Language & Civilization from Hunter College in NYC. I continued my Master's there in English Literature and am currently working on another Master's Degree in Elementary Education. My passion lies in helping students make connections in their own language as well as in learning a new one. I hope to show students that learning can be fun in and out of the classroom and my teaching philosophy focuses on finding common interests between subject and student. I look forward to getting to know my students so that I can individualize my teaching style to cater to their learning strengths.
