Hi, I'm Sara! I graduated from Yale University, did my doctoral work at Indiana University, and recently earned an MA in Education & Innovation from Webster University, where I also teach at the college level. I work 1:1 with students in math, reading, writing, study skills, and test prep, including the SSAT, ISEE, and ACT. I especially enjoy figuring out where a student is getting stuckwhether via gaps in foundational skills, unfamiliar concepts, or simply past approaches that haven't made sense to them. Whether we're solving an algebra problem, analyzing a reading passage, building vocabulary, or developing an essay, I teach students practical, repeatable strategies to understand not only how to arrive at the right answer, but why an approach works and how to recognize when to use it again. I tailor each student's work to build skills, confidence, and independence.
