About Me

I am a professional educator with a passion for working with students. I believe that each student can learn, it just takes patience and hard work. For me working with a student is really a partnership between the parents, student and tutor. We all need to work together in an open and honest relationship. Communication is key. In order for me to know how to best work with students, I need to better understand their study habits and the environment in which the studying takes place. With this information, I am better able to make concrete suggestions on how the student may improve. Working with a tutor is just that - working with the student; the tutor is not a crutch. My job is to explain and clarify in a more effective manner the issues which are troubling the student. I am dedicated to assist in the learning process and to challenge the student to grow into a more confident learner and thinker.
