I'm currently a fourth year medical student at a private medical school in Texas. I've been involved with tutoring since middle school continuing all the way through medical school. There are so many different ways to teach based on how students learn best and I am passionate about meeting the individual needs of students so they can succeed. I took unconventional approaches to learning as instilled by mentors throughout my life that greatly increased my ability to learn and comprehend material . I've worked with tutoring students in ACT prep, SAT prep, MCAT prep, IB and AP courses, as well as STEM subjects from elementary school through to college. Recently, I've also tutored for USMLE Step 1 & 2. I also edit and work with students who need tutors for writing and reading comprehension. I have extensive experience in both college and medical school admissions and work yearly with students on essays and applications. I went to high school at the Downingtown STEM Academy and graduated May 2018 from the University of Alabama with a 4.2. I have a BS in Biology with minors in Social Work and Social Welfare. I will be graduating with an MD and MPH in May 2022. I tutor english, math, geometry, algebra, SAT, ACT, MCAT, USMLE chemistry, biology, organic chemistry, and writing along with other subjects. I've worked with rural students in Alabama, students in the Greater Philadelphia area, and students in urban areas. I believe education should be personalized and while schools can't provide this due to lack of resources, tutors are a great substitute for that. Education is the gateway to social mobility and happiness and I seek to prepare my student to meet their individual goals. I work to create an environment where the student can focus on understanding the material for their own understanding and not for others which significantly increases the students confidence in the subject matter and their desire to learn more.

I am a graduate of the University of Calgary, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Since graduation, I have worked as a software developer and have practical experience with variety of technologies. I tutor a variety of subjects related to Computer Science, including computer languages used in web development like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ruby. My favorite part of teaching Computer Science concepts is helping students break down a complicated subject into manageable parts and build up a powerful understanding -- much like the practice of software engineering itself. I'm Atharva and I attend The University of Texas at Austin! I am currently majoring in computational engineering, which is essentially a mix of math, computer science, and aerospace engineering. I have worked as a math tutor for around 3 years, and I have seen students improve their scores significantly in their classes and standardized tests. I especially enjoy tutoring math since I strongly believe it can be very interesting if taught in an engaging way rather than straight out of a dull textbook. I believe I have this ability to make my tutoring sessions more interactive and productive, and I love being able to help students understand the intuition behind the concepts they learn in class instead of making them simply memorize them.

I am a Senior at Worcester Polytechnic Institute studying Mechanical and Robotics Engineering. I am here to help with any Math, Science, Engineering or other tutoring needs. I am an undergraduate student attending Grinnell College in Iowa to pursue a B.A. in Computer Science. I grew up in Minnesota, and now I am staying in Omaha. I like traveling, meeting new people, and learning everything that I can.

I am a fourth year undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering Honors with minors in Computer Science and Business. I have always been passionate about helping others by continuing the chain of mentorship that I received and helping others avoid the same mistakes I once made. Prior to University, I spent my spare time spreading environmental awareness to elementary students, coaching middle school basketball teams, and guiding nascent MathCounts and Science Olympiad programs. Since arriving at UT Austin, I have had the privilege of teaching a classroom of middle schoolers for a semester as part of the UTeach Outreach program. I am most passionate about Math, Computer Science, and the college application process. In my experience helping struggling students prepare their applications for admissions, I have had the most fun reviewing essays and revising resumes. I also enjoy sharing tips and tricks to solving any Standardized Math Test questions!
